My secret way lately to getting great deals on groceries...should I tell you? Well, I've decided that hopefully you don't live in my area and get it all LOL.
I bought this hamburger for .50 each ..tell you more about that in a minute.
I've also bought spareribs for $6.00
Kentucky Legend ham (lunchmeat) for $1.99
Kowalski Franks for $2.74 each
and right now I'm frying up Applegate Natural Sunday Bacon I bought for $2.99 (8 oz).
I bought this all at Meijer on the Flashfood app (you download this on your phone). You get great savings on fresh food items like meat, dairy, and produce that are near their best buy date. Okay they also have stuff from the bakery. So, the offerings are different every day..you need to just check and see what they have. You can do this in Canada and the United States.
If you want a great deal you can do what me and my daughter recently did. I gave her my referral VICK36PZH and she received $5.00 and so did I when she bought over $10 on her first purchase. I used it towards two 1 pound packages of Laura's Lean Ground Beef making them .50 each! She was able to immediately use hers on her first order.
So make sure to use my code the first time you order!
Ok my secret is out. I hope I don't regret it LOL.
Disclaimer: **VICK36PZH is my referral code and if you use it I will receive compensation. Thanks so much if you do!

Cool! Nice savings. No fancy phone here to do apps and such with.
Great deals for those who do.
We just recently quit our Magic Jack Landline kind of phone so now we have a cell phone (cheap one). magicjack was giving us so much trouble. Anyhow, one of the benefits of that is Ibotta and this flashfood app. Kind of helps a lot.
Boo. We don't have Meijer. Or Kroger. I am thankful we have the discount grocery stores.
How wonderful! I’m no where near you or I’d try it too
oh it's nationwide Rhonda so it might be near you!
You lucky too ...I wish we had more discount grocery stores near us. The nearest one is about 20 miles away and they sell very old stuff. Years old. Seems like they couldn't do that but they do. So I wish we had a better one!
Well done Vickie and they are huge savings :) .
Wish we had similar apps like that in Australia but alas in our neck of the country woods we just search for markdowns in the supermarkets when we are in them shopping.
Lorna.
Lorna, that's the way I did before this but it's kind of neat because I get a chance to get the markdowns. I was missing a lot of them. It's good for the budget for sure!
