It was a nice day for a ride (smoke was gone and the temp was around 70). Before we left I made sure to look up garage sales on Facebook and we had a great time. Here is what we found.
I found 3 tops and a pair of capri's for $1.00 apiece. The capri's and one top still had tags on them.
Found a very nice office chair for free along side the road for the grandson. He broke his and told us to be on the look out for one. We didn't know we would find it along side the road! They also had some great looking desks out there but we didn't need them.
We went on down the road and found 5 plastic lawnchairs for $15.00 total. They need power washing (today hopefully)
Husband also found a whole can of brake fluid for $2.00 and an invertor thing for $10.00 (sorry no picture -it's out there in the garage somewhere).
The chickens are doing great...the garden is so so. I'll be watering and weeding this morning.

We’re doing well here, thanks for asking. I love free stuff! How neat that you found a free chair to replace your grandson’s broken chair. You did so well at yard sales. Buying clothes for $1 with the tags still on is so great. I have a nice wardrobe thanks to the second hand markets aka yard sales. Weather sounds so nice up there. Glad to hear the smoke is clearing out too.
ReplyDeleteIt was so fun finding his chair...he just told us that morning about his broken one. He gets too excited about games I think.
DeleteI need to find more clothes -that would be great. One of the tops was more for winter so I was glad to get ahead of the season...it was fun finding them.
Have a great weekend Belinda!
Great finds! Love the clothes, and what great timing on the chair. Glad the smoke is clearing and I hope the rain puts the fires out. I think this is my saddest garden ever, but at least I have a few tomatoes to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHave a fun weekend.
Gardena are so hard some years...my tomatoes are out there but I'm finding blossom end rot..I'm hoping that will be ok in the next ones that ripen. I hope your garden improves and in the end you are surprised at your bounty
DeleteGreat finds! You know I haven't been to a yard sale this summer! I don't need a thing, so no since to geo and temp myself.
ReplyDeleteYou are saving money and space Cheryl!
DeleteWe do love to garage sale and find things we need. You have to watch out though I guess for buying too much.
Awesome finds! The smoke has cleared here in the Minneapolis area as well. We have a lot of tomatoes on our plants hopefully they will make it to harvest. We’re heading out camping for a few days this week. Sue in MN
ReplyDeleteSue, I'm so glad it cleared up and you are ready to camp. That smoke kept a lot of people from going places. I can't wait for a good ripe tomato sandwich. We should both have one soon ..I hope!
