I'm afraid some people might have jumped the gun and planted when it was close to 80 degrees. I can understand why they would do that but here we are wanting on the snow again.
Some neighbors are so nice!
Vickie @Vickie's Kitchen and Gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03402367232977896594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5623860601773162733.post-91481709449149544902022-04-26T18:58:28.803-04:002022-04-26T18:58:28.803-04:00Out of the mouths of babes!!!! We both win.
Still too chilly to plant here - ground is still very cold.
Cheryl Kimbleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06485771676254429681noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5623860601773162733.post-17006171441482272622022-04-26T16:24:08.019-04:002022-04-26T16:24:08.019-04:00Congratulations to your daughter for graduating co...Congratulations to your daughter for graduating college! She's ready but I'm still talking myself into it. It is her college graduation present from me so I'll probably manage it for her. Free run of Frankenmuth with mom's credit card could be a dangerous thing but she's pretty fugal so I'm not too worried.
AnnAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5623860601773162733.post-21438387466593835132022-04-26T12:55:48.457-04:002022-04-26T12:55:48.457-04:00Your so right Lana, I was just telling my husband ...Your so right Lana, I was just telling my husband we need to hold dear these moments the grandchildren give us, they will be grown soon enough. Sounds like you have a great garden going!Vickie @Vickie's Kitchen and Gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03402367232977896594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5623860601773162733.post-22942896027917680272022-04-26T11:45:19.006-04:002022-04-26T11:45:19.006-04:00Hello! My cousin took us to Frankenmuth several years ago when we visited. We have 4 dwarf peach trees that we are looking forward to getting fruit from. The citrus season has pretty much ended here, but I do have some lemons and a couple oranges and tangelos in the refrigerator to still enjoy. I planted a few potato plants that are blooming now. I think that means I will have some potatoes to harvest. I want to get some sweet potatoes going since they not only stay green and thrive through the summer heat, but we enjoy eating them. Have a wonderful week! Commenting from central Arizona.
