My t...Your garden is beautiful!...I am so jealous.
My tomatoes slowed down a little. I think because it we had a cool spell & they really need heat to ripen quickly. But it's hot & humid today....& more heat is predicted so I think they'll speed up.

That's all I'm growing. I bought some cow manure this morning to add to some beds I'd weeded. We have hard, white rocky soil here & I've never been good about mulching. But I thought I'd add some as I weed & hope my plants will be healthier.

I also have a four day weekend! We're all so tired so my dil took off work today & tomorrow. It's a good thing too...I made two trips to Walmart this morning ..the cyber-world tossed my pick up order in the air & I only got half of it. I had to go home, go through everything to see what was left out then go back & shop myself. I decided to go on to Aldi while I was at it.

I got home only to realize I left a bag at the register...full of stuff I'd already paid for. What a day! I called the store & they said all I have to do is bring in my receipt to get the items the next time I'm in town. So I'll wait until then. Someone told me that if the green beans come in great make sure you can all you can. Next year you may not have a bumper crop. So we go by that with whatever we get. I couldn't be a farmer!Vickie @Vickie's Kitchen and Gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03402367232977896594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5623860601773162733.post-11179582562779057872020-08-06T09:34:02.127-04:002020-08-06T09:34:02.127-04:00We had a meal of green beans waiting for us when w...We had a meal of green beans waiting for us when we got back from the lake. That makes three. Not a lot but so good. Our tomatoes are just putzing along. We at least have some green ones now. I noticed that every garden here is behind or not doing well here. The residents of our lake house town are really great gardeners and theirs were far behind and sad too so I don't feel too bad.
