We went to Meijers last night and I found Pumpkin.  They were the big 29 oz cans but still I found pumpkin!  I bought my daughter 3 cans and I bought 2 for myself.   My daughter is a big pumpkin fan and was really worried about finding it.

I also bought a large can of yams, sage, and a graham cracker crust.  I'm putting everything in my Thanksgiving/Christmas Food basket that way it will all be in one place and I won't go crazy looking for it!   ...Now where to put the basket..umm

  1. Good idea to put it all together for the holiday time. No problems here with pumpkin - I have looked - although not a fan at all. I figured many can use sweet potatoes or winter squash if not finding pumpkin. Get some at Halloween and process them - pure pumpkin!!

    1. Yes..your right about processing pumpkins. I'll be doing that too.
I did look at the ingredients after hearing that some pumpkin might be carrots or something like that.
Libby is pure pumpkin so you got to love that!

  2. That is a great deal on the face masks, Vickie. I'm also glad you were able to find some pumpkin. :)

  3. Glad you found your pumpkin! It wasn't in stock at Kroger either.
Thanks for the face masks deal. I ordered some since my box was getting low.

  4. I am so glad you found pumpkin. I went to Sam's club today & didn't see any but I haven't been to the grocery stores. I took my husband with me so he could pick out the meat he wanted.....goodness....I won't say how much we spent but we are definitely covered through the fall & maybe till spring.

I still have my regular shopping list though - yuck.

I went to the local greenhouse this morning & bought violas & decorative pumpkins for fall. I decided to buy two pie pumpkins to cook since that may be the only way I find it. My daughter-in-law has been making pumpkin scones for her bakery. She said all she's seen is large cans of pumpkin too.

I'm thoroughly enjoying my week off without my grandson.
