We had a different anniversary yesterday (41 years) as I suspect everyone is having different celebrations in the last year.   First, we ordered pizza.  I know that's a weird thing to have but it was something that just sounded good.  Then, the wonderful husband took me on a surprise drive to Frankenmuth for our dessert.  We went to the coffee shop then on to Zehnder's Bakery to get donuts!

I think it will be a much remembered celebration!

  1. Happy 41st Anniversary!! Sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate! I would love to visit Frankenmuth someday, and I'm sure that Zehnder's desserts are amazing. I'm glad you were able to celebrate your special day.
We are still doing a takeout here for special occasions, but I hope once we get the vaccines, we will be able to dine out again. Hard to believe that it has been a year since we dined out.

  9. Congratulations on staying together 41 years. That is something to brag about. Deciding together to order pizza shows how you cooperate with each other. Your husband surprising you with a trip to a restaurant for a treat shows he: thought about what your needs, choose something you would like and then followed thorough on his plan. Perhaps these are the reasons you are both still together.
