Frugal Friday for 6/3/22!

Picked up a free Scarecrow alongside the road.  It was a neighbors, (thanks) so no gas wasted!

We finished planting the garden.  Greasy beans (green bean variety) are coming up already.

We have been using ours and our neighbors cut grass for mulch in between the rows.

I picked mustard greens and green onions last night for dinner today.  It's been a lot cooler but last week we received record heat and our lettuce bolted.

My favorite flower has bloomed this week.  Next week I'll show you another favorite LOL.

How did you save money last week?

  4. So sorry to hear about your spinach and bok cho bolting. It was very hot. Of course now we are cold.
If we have enough this year maybe we will try the greasy beans for shuck beans. Each year we have planted more.

  5. We tried Instacart with a special promo they have going on and saved $35. New users can get $35 off $50 when you pay with Paypal and used the code PAYPAL35 through the 10th. We used it for an Aldi pickup and did not have to pay the fees or tip. We stayed home all week except that pick up so no that saved us money in many ways.
