Frugal Friday 9/1/23! The Fair!

If you remember a few weeks ago I told you I entered the fair.  I did pretty good and it was a lot of fun.  Here are a few pictures.

Canned 6 more quarts of green beans, 3 pints of salsa, and dehydrated some zucchini flour.

The zucchini flour is a first for me so I'm just trying it out.  This was actually 4 medium sized zucchini!

I'm going to try to use it in place of coconut flour.

I found another zucchini hiding under the leaves.  I'm going to use this one for lasagna noodles.   I'm making Lasagna today while it's cool.   I'm not sure why my zucchini didn't produce a lot till now but I'll take them!

What ways have you saved this past week?

  2. OMG! Look at you!! So many ribbons from the fair. I love it! Congratulations! I wonder if the zucchini flour would work for gravy? It would definitely be low carb. I need to try that out soon. Thank you for the idea.

  3. Hi Belinda, I heard you have to mix it to make it taste better. So I don't know about the gravy. We need low carb gravy too so let me know if you find a recipe.
