Spring Cleaning and sewing was put on hold, when we saw the ad for the farm store on Facebook. They had strawberries for $5.99 for a flat of 8 quarts (75 cents a quart). We made it there and bought two flats. Believe me, they were going out the door fast.
It's a lot of work saving money and finding good deals but it's so worth it. Let me tell you what I've done with them so far and what I have planned.
I've dehydrated a bunch already and have more going this morning. These will be great to have for car trips.
Right now, I'm making a sugar free strawberry syrup for our pancakes tommorrow.
I also have plans to make a few jars of strawberry jam with tonight or tommorrow morning. Just depends on when I have the energy!
It smells so good in my house!
How's everything going at your home?
