I developed a fever on Christmas Eve of 100.4. A sore throat & a little dizziness but I didn't feel super bad. I cancelled our time with our kids for Christmas evening & tried to get a covid test. Everything was closed.

I finally found a place on their national website to schedule a test. Saturday was the first day open & it was already booked so I took the first slot available...Sunday at 11:15 about 30 miles from my house.

Christmas Day my fever started going down. My throat was still sore & I never felt very sick. By evening my fever was gone. This morning it was normal, no sore throat..nothing.

So if I'm still good this afternoon I'll cancel my test. The thing is, I didn't feel that bad but because of covid...with my sore throat I took my temperature. Then I assessed how I felt....in the past I would never have even thought about it because I really didn't feel very bad. But all the drama of it...so frustrating.
Especially trying to stay away from my diabetic husband.

Oh well. we are all good & for that I am very grateful. We woke up to about 4 inches of snow on Christmas morn. We haven't had a white Christmas in 10 years. We don't have to go anywhere so I don't mind the ice and 9 degrees temp this morning.
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11093313893708262722noreply@blogger.com
