This week was full of appointments and I admit there were somedays dinner was not planned. One of those was yesterday. We decided on Cheese burgers before we realized we didn't have any hamburger buns. Most of the time we have some in the freezer but we couldn't find any. So we used bread instead. They were good.
We ended up having two patties leftover so this morning I chopped them up and put them in a Lasagna to put in the oven later.
Did I have any ricotta cheese, nope ...did I have any cottage cheese, nope...so it was mozarella and parmesan with lots of spaghetti sauce. I'm just going with what I have.
This is enough for two dinners with garlic bread. I bought the plain Italian bread at Meijer for $1.00 on sale and put my own butter and garlic in the middle.
Dinner is served for two days...love it!
Now on to raking the leaves in the front yard.

I love having dinner sorted out for a few days. You made smart use of what you had!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job using what you had on hand, Vickie. I love that!
ReplyDeleteSounds yummy!!
ReplyDeleteI hardly ever have buns = use bread mostly. Good job using things up. No need for special ingredients.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone...it helped to have dinner ready today so we could rake more leaves.
