I want to be open with everyone about my menu plans, they are subject to change and I'm not afraid of that at all. For instance when I helped at a funeral dinner at my church this past week besides a meal, I was also offered leftovers of ham, hot dogs, a cherry pie, and the rest of my green beans. Within a couple of days I used the ham in omelettes, the hot dogs in pinto beans, I snacked on the my leftover green beans and someone has been eating the cherry pie! It was all used in our regular meal plans.
Now this isn't why I work at dinners ...this is one way I can help others. A small one, but a much appreciated one I found out.
My menu plans to me are a suggestion for my week and this is why you may see some repeats of last week's menu list.
Sunday Spaghetti (I actually have leftover spaghetti sauce from last week in the freezer)
Monday Liver and Onions, leftover pinto beans, mustard greens (on sale at Kroger 4/$1.00)
Tuesday Meatloaf (frozen meal), leftover mustard greens, and mashed potatoes.
Wednesday Leftovers
Thursday Smoked Sausage and Flavored Brown Rice
Friday Flavor-full Turkey Burgers
Saturday Fried Pork Chops
