Christmas Gifts I've Made this Week 11/11/15

I have little imagination so I kind of have to rely on other people's ideas. Thank goodness for Pinterest! I got started this week making these cute Sugar Cookie Sack's  from Celebrate Creativity. She gave great instructions and it was so easy to do!  Now I have a present for the grandson's teacher, post man, and a extra present that I always need.

I estimated each one to cost about $3.00 apiece.

Here is the break down:

**I bought the spoons at Walmart (5 for $4.97)

**I bought my first cookie mix at Kroger thinking what a deal for Krusteaz at $1.99.  I was all ready to ask for a price match when I went to Walmart but their regular price was $1.68.  Yep, that's how it goes sometimes.

**I had the material already. I bought 3 yards at a estate sale for about $3.00 this past summer. I just knew there would eventually be a project. Now what to do with the other 2 and 1/2 yards?

**I bought the fake berries at the dollar store.  A bunch of four was a $1.00.

**I already had the twine.

**Cinnamon sticks-maybe .50 for all.

**I used PicMonkey for the tags.

Problems?

One problem for me was getting everything to stay together.  I finally used a rubber band first then hid it with twine.

Thanks so much for the idea and great sewing instructions Celebrate Creativity !

Have you made any Christmas gifts yet?
