My daughter and our grandson last year going down the hill. |
I had to laugh yesterday when those baskets of gloves and hats I organized not to long ago were destroyed in a matter of minutes. Ten inches of snow fell on Saturday and we couldn't wait to get out on that hill. The picture above was from last year. This year wonderful grandson mostly went down the hill by himself. He is growing so fast!
Thanksgiving:
I can't believe it's already Thanksgiving. I'm making sure I clean my refrigerator today so I can make room to thaw out that turkey!
I've taken orders for dessert from the wonderful grandson to make a white/chocolate cake. This should be interesting.
Here is what I accomplished this week.
Finish infinity scarf and make more dish scrubbies. The scarf and the scrubbies are both pretty simple patterns. Something I can do while watching T.V.
Find more books for grandchildren (either on sale or used).
Exercise in some form -yoga or walking as much as possible.
Here is what I hope to accomplish this week.
Office Work
Write a book review.
House and Garden Work:
Finish cleaning our bedroom from top to bottom. I already cleaned closet and half the room.
Clean out refrigerator.
Thaw out Turkey.
Make Thanksgiving dinner!
Saving Money
Find more books for grandchildren (either on sale or used).
Start saving more money with coupons. I have the things at Walgreens I need that are on sale w/coupons ready to go today!
Personal Goals
Exercise in some form -yoga or walking as much as possible. I hope to exercise more when I'm over this cold that's been hanging on.
Earn at least 15 Swagbucks a day. Since I've been doing this I've earned four $5.00 gift cards! Many times I just earn this by searching.
Read the Bible and memorize more scripture. I'm very slow at this -especially the one from last week. I think I'm more like a scripture verse a month, sort of girl.
What are your goals for this week?
