Frugal Friday 7/22/22!

We stopped by an estate sale yesterday and I was able to get three books for my gardening library for .25 cents a piece.  If I have a question I'm sure it's in here.

Husband went to pick up some prescriptions at the drug store and they were 50% more than last month.  It was shocking and I thought well maybe it's wild inflation or something.  He said he asked about it and she said we would have to call our insurance.   I did in the morning and she hadn't even charged our insurance.  We received a $62.00 refund.

On that trip we also took back a bad watermelon to the store and were refunded $4.99.

I found a great deal on Flashfood for beef brisket.  You can read about it here if you haven't already.

How did you do saving money this past week?

  4. I can't believe the incompetence these days! I wonder how many people were over charged for meds who don't even know it!

  5. You know Lana, I was chalking it up to inflation till I thought about it. It took me 30 minutes so I made $62 in thirty minutes. Well worth it!
