We had a beautiful day in Michigan yesterday. We even went fishing with the grandchildren down at our little local lake. Didn't catch anything but we had a good time trying.
Then we grilled out steak for us and hamburgers for them to top off the day. The clouds are back and we have some rain starting up again today. When we seen it starting to rain this morning on the way to school, I told grandson that God has let a newbie in charge of the spigot. I hope the supervisor gets a hold of it soon!
Here is what I plan to have on the dinner table this week:
Monday Leftover grilled steak and burgers (we went a little wild on the grill)
Tuesday Spaghetti (spaghetti squash)
Wednesday Breakfast for dinner- omelettes and low carb toast.
Thursday Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans
Friday Leftover chicken and a salad
Saturday Out to eat (daughters Mother's day treat)
Sunday Out to eat -Mcdonald's or something-Husband's treat (he doesn't know it yet ha ha)
What's on your menu?

We are supposed to go to the lakehouse on Sunday early. It is my birthday as well as Mother's Day. I wanted to go Saturday but our middle son and family will be here overnight Saturday night and leave for Ohio right after breakfast on Sunday morning. I am glad they are coming or I would not see any of the kids. I plan to order a cake from the local grocery for pick up and have no idea what else we will eat at this point. Maybe throw steak on the grill and potatoes in the oven and pick up a salad kit.
Lana, Your dinner all sound so delicious! I'm so glad your son and family will be visiting for mothers day and your birthday. Happy Birthday! Sounds like your day will be a great one.
I love the Happy Hollisters! I have my original books from when I was a young girl. :-)
