Book Review: Two Children's Books- Leave Me Alone and Leave Me Alone Cold Wind by Susette Williams

Leave Me Alone (Rhyming Picture Books, Early Readers, Seasons: Fall) by [Williams, Susette]

Leave Me Alone (Rhyming Picture Books, Early Readers, Seasons: Fall)

Wonderful illustrations by Jack Foster accompany a great story about the weather in Leave Me Alone by Susette Williams.   I had the pleasure of reading this book to my grandson and he was more than happy to give his opinion.   He loved the look of the wind in the pictures.  He also thought it was funny that the boy was having a hard time with his chores because of the wind.
This was a fun teaching story about the windy season of Fall.

 Grandson said 6 stars.

My thoughts:

I loved the way the illustrations flowed so well they made the wind come to life.  Very entertaining and educational!

Leave Me Alone Cold Wind (Rhyming Picture Books, Early Readers, Seasons: Winter) by [Williams, Susette]

A change in the seasons to Winter brings another great story by Susette Williams and illustrations by by Jack Foster. I had the pleasure of reading this book also to my grandson when he was here Sunday.   He didn't seem to like the idea of snowballs flying back to the boy in the story.   He loved the story line though about having fun in the winter.
Grandson says 5 stars

My thoughts:
Another fun teaching story about the weather.   This book is about the wind in the Winter.  The story flows well and kept my grandson wanting to read more.   The illustrations are wonderful.

I was given a copy of both books from the author in exchange for a honest review.
