Goals for this Week 2/9/15

Goals for this Week 2/9/15
Baby blanket is finished!

I guess it takes a snow storm to get some things accomplished in the house!   I feel good this week as I was able to get a lot of stuff done.   Although I will admit to you the later part of the week I got a bad case of cabin fever and needed to get out the house immediately!   We ended up going to one of the local farm stores and buying gardening seed!   I decided on edible pod snow peas and lettuce. Two of our favorite things to grow in early Spring.   Spring will come!

With the thoughts of gardening on my mind I know I need to keep up with Spring cleaning my home.. Once I'm able to get outside I know it won't get done.   As long as we are still building fires in the fireplace though I will have to wait on washing the walls till later in the season.

Here is what I accomplished last week:

Read a new book and write a book review.  (I have read up to two new books every week -I don't always review them though.  It will slow down in the summer)

Keep finding ways to improve blog.

Learn a new skill - so far I've made tortillas, crepes, and butter.  Didn't try anything new last week....I'm feeling much better and ready to get with it.

Earn at least 30 Swagbucks a day.  I have only been able to make 30 swagbucks a day or less for the past month.   No surveys are available but I still watch videos, polls, searches, noso, etc.  Still a great way to earn gift cards but I have been spending less time on Swagbucks each day.  It may pickup again soon.

Finish the baby blanket.  I'm 95% done!   Although no one I know is in need of a baby blanket, I'm getting excited to get this done and having it in my present stash.

Start making little presents I have pinned on Pinterest for Christmas. My mind wants to do this....and I will. Just not sure when I'm going to get started.

Hem jeans.   yeah!

Organize the pots and lids plus the Tupperware drawer.     Here is what they look like now.  If you would like to see the before pictures you can see them on this post:  My Snowy Monday Projects.

This Week's Goals:

Office Work

Read a new book and write a book review.  (I have read up to two new books every week -I don't always review them though.  It will slow down in the summer)

Keep finding ways to improve blog.

Personal Goals

Start exercising.   Yes, with the arrival of new exercise cds this is back on my list.   Plus daughter keeps asking if I have tried them yet.  It's always good to have an encourager in the family....

Earn at least 30 Swagbucks a day.  I have only been able to make 30 swagbucks a day or less for the past month. I'm having trouble for some reason qualifying for a survey. When there are no surveys available I watch videos, polls, searches, noso, etc.  Still a great way to earn gift cards but I have been spending less time on Swagbucks each day.  It may pickup again soon.

Things I love to do:

Keep making little presents I have pinned on Pinterest for Christmas.   Although I started last week I need to do the project over.   Apparently I crochet very big and I need to change my the size of my crochet hook!

Take grandson sledding with the like new sled I bought.   Now I might take him but I wonder if I may be to old to go down.   I just don't know.   I will have to see when I look down the hill.

Make a wonderful meal for my husband on Valentines Day!

Cleaning the home (spring cleaning)

Wash the outside and top of the kitchen cabinets.

Clean out the inside of pantry that holds the water softener and top of the that cabinet.
