Here is what I was up to last week:
I have had a few more moments to read this week since it's been raining. You can find more ways that I find time to read in the summer here.
Rain has become our friend this past week in Michigan. I had just begun to make headway in the vegetable and flower gardens then they became too wet to get in. With a promise of dry weather in the forecast and a husband who says he will help, it looks hopeful that I will get ahead of the weeds!
I have a secret to getting things done and it really is true this week. You see I bought the cleaning solution for the carpet cleaner, the mulch for the flower garden, and I found where to get the leveling sand for the patio on sale! Getting the tools is half the job...so yes I'm getting it done!
This week so far we've been busy babysitting as the oldest daughter fell down the basement stairs. She ended up with a severe ankle sprain. We babysit as much as we can so she can keep that ankle lifted up some.
Here is what I managed to accomplish this past week:
Write a recipe post. Those DIY posts have been fun!
Cleaning the bedroom
2. Clean carpet...bought the solution for the carpet cleaner.
Finish spreading mulch and white rocks around flowers..... I bought the mulch!
Plant the front flower garden and weed vegetable garden as needed. 1/3 done before the rains
Start making the patio.,,,,I know where the leveling sand is on sale this week. ha ha
Here is what I hope to accomplish this week:
Write a book review.
Write a recipe post.
Cleaning the home & Spring Cleaning
Hang out the laundry as many times as I can.
Carpet Clean both bedrooms.
Keep exercising at least twice a week. So far so good. I'm counting watching the grand baby on this one. She keeps us very active! (we love every minute).
Earn at least 15 Swagbucks a day.
Outdoor work!! (all depending on weather)
Finish spreading mulch and white rocks around flowers.
Plant the front flower garden and weed vegetable garden as needed. 1/2 done
Start making the patio.
What are your goals for this week?
