We had quite a rain yesterday...a little more than the garden variety in some spots. We really needed it though it was getting quite dry.
An added bonus this morning was to see the mustard greens are coming up!
The rattlesnake green beans are ready to be picked tomorrow. I love the markings on them. They are a heirloom bean that really produce and taste great!
I'm not sure what it is about picking on Wednesday but it seems to always work that way.
A great small harvest for today! I could only find one zucchini this morning so they are slowing down. This looks like a great making for a soup this week!
There as been a little drama in the garden this morning as I realized the groundhog under our shed as ate it's way through a row of beets. That groundhog needs to find a new home...soon.
There is not even a leaf left to take a picture of.

This time of year my potted plants always just pucker out. They look sickly and I know it's time to let them go into the compost heap. I may be a little early but I decided to go ahead and plant some Fall Mums in their place.
