My Menu this Past Week 12/19/15
Christmas is coming so fast! I can't believe it's almost here. We finally had a little dusting of snow last night so that makes it feel like it's time of year.
I've gotten my shopping done and I just have a few packages to wrap. Nothing to worry about and I can enjoy the Christmas season.
Something happened last week that I didn't really plan for -I made dinner every day! The days just rolled by without a thought of going out to eat. That's a lot of savings and better eating!
Our menu changes frequently in my home with use of leftovers, garden produce, deals, or special occasions that come up. With that in mind I have decided to tell you what we have had this past week instead of what I have planned ahead.
Sunday Baked Chicken
Monday Chicken Casserole found in Made with Love (made a freezer meal too)
Tuesday Hot dogs
Wednesday Bacon, Country Fried Apples, and cinnamon rolls
Thursday Steak and cheese sandwiches (made with a marked down roast)
Friday Hamburger Stew (made with chopped roast)- I made Apple Bites for Breakfast
Saturday Leftover stew (added a quart jar of cabbage to make it taste wonderful and go further)
What was on your menu?
