My Menu this Past Week

It's turned very cold here in Michigan compared to what it has been for the last couple of  months. I guess we are being reminded it's winter. We are now in our sweaters, winter jackets, woolly socks, and boots. With that nice weather we were blessed with winter will not seem as long now.  It will be over before we know it.  Really.

All the ham from Christmas was done with the pinto beans and the ham bone last Thursday. It was so good!  Yesterday I was glad to make something a little different for dinner.  Frankly, I think everyone here was just a little relieved!

Our menu changes frequently in my home with use of leftovers, garden produce, deals, or special occasions that come up. With that in mind I have decided to tell you what we have had this past week instead of what I have planned ahead.

Sunday             Ham and Cheese omelettes

Monday            Mcdonald's (youngest daughters treat)

Tuesday           Ham and Potato soup

Wednesday       Birthday dinner out!

Thursday          Pinto Beans with the Ham Bone, Mustard Greens,                               and Cornbread

Friday              New Year's Day - Short Ribs, Baked Potato, and a Salad

Saturday           Goulash

What was on your menu?
