My Top Goals for this Week 2/22/16

Detroit River (Windsor, Ontario side)

We took a little ride on Saturday across the bridge into Windsor, Ontario.  This was a great day trip and it got us out on a beautiful but windy day.  You can see the waves getting high on the Detroit River in this picture.

The Detroit skyline is really nice looking but I think we need a pretty park like they have in Canada on the U.S. side (free parking though would be nice).  Just a suggestion.

So glad we got out and enjoyed the nice weather because they say it's subject to change soon!  Already I can feel the cool cold air moving back in.   Yes, someone reminded me yesterday it's February!

Here is what I managed to get done last week:

Read the Bible more!  (I have to admit It's just been 2 or 3 times a week)

Watch my diet.

Write a Book review.  I reviewed Joshua's Mission by Vannetta Chapman and I'm cooking still in the kitchen with Prep Ahead Meals from Scratch by Alea Milham (she has saved dinner for me a couple of times already).

Wash the kitchen walls. (then the kitchen will be totally done)

Clean the guest room.

Take down old wall paper in the bathroom and paint the bead board on the bottom.

Crochet more baby hats (I've made approx. 10)  and maybe try to crochet the afghan that goes with them.  These are for charity.  Would like to get these done in February. I do these as I watch T.V. at night.

Walk in the mall a couple of times.

Go to Sunday School again next week.  (love it!)

Earn at least 15 Swagbucks a day.

Here is what I hope to accomplish this week:

High Priority List

Read the Bible more!  I downloaded a great free devotional book last week that I love, it's called Easter is Coming (unfortunately no longer free).

Watch my diet.

Office Work

Write a Book review.  I love Prep Ahead Meals from Scratch by Alea Milham and will be reviewing it this week. This weekend I hope to start reading The Amish Market by Amy Clipston.

Kitchen and House Work:

Wash the kitchen walls. (then the kitchen will be totally done).

Remodeling

Paint the bead board on the bottom.  I was going to do this today but the grand baby will be here and she has not been feeling well.  I got afraid of the paint fumes and decided to wait till the end of this week when she be won't be around.

Personal Goals

Crochet more baby hats (I've made approx. 10)  and maybe try to crochet the afghan that goes with them.  These are for charity.  Would like to get these done in February. I do these as I watch T.V. at night.  I would like to finish this up this week.

Walk in the mall a couple of times.

Go to Sunday School again next week.  (love it!)

Earn at least 15 Swagbucks a day.
