Our Menu this Past Week 3/5/16

You know getting started back on the Trim Healthy Mama plan has been hard for me.  I have went back and forth all last week. Somedays I last all day long and then the next day I'm good only until dinner.   I'm starting all over again each day until it becomes just this how I eat again. No more bad habits and no more excuses! My husband loves the Cheeseburger Pie by the way-he doesn't know it's on plan. ha ha.

How did I get off of the plan?  It started with an auto-immune problem. I read somewhere that I wouldn't have that problem if I eliminated certain foods from my diet.. That worked but my previous way of eating just blew out the window.  I found out that I was one of the lucky blessed ones and this only lasted a year for me!   It's been a little rough though getting my mind back in order. This past week has been mostly good though.

This dinner menu is mostly for my husband and I adjust what I eat.

Our menu changes frequently in my home with use of leftovers, garden produce, deals, or special occasions that come up. With that in mind I have decided to tell you what we have had this past week instead of what I have planned ahead.

Sunday         Cheeseburger Pie (Trim Healthy Mama recipe from the book) and green beans

Monday        Leftover cheeseburger pie and peas.

Tuesday       Hot Dogs w/Coney Island Sauce  (This is husband's favorite meal...it used to be mine but I'm really quite tired of it. Mainly because he wants it every week!  They are good but I believe he could live on them.)

Wednesday   Pork Chops

Thursday       We ate out

Friday            Shredded BBQ Beef (freezer meal)

Saturday       BBQ Spare ribs

What was on your menu?
