Books I'm Reading This Summer for the Reading Challenge for Adults Program

Our library is holding it's annual summer reading program.   I know you thinking it's for kids well I always thought that too until this year. I was waiting in line to check out a book and the sign kind of just popped out at me, Summer Reading Challenge for Adults.  The grand prize is a kindle and just for finishing you get a $5.00 coupon for a fast food resturant.  Yep I'm in!

The trick is to get you to read different genre's.  I have to admit this is something I'm in need of.   I'm a total Amish Christian fiction nut.  I just can't get enough. The author's are very good and can put quite a spin on romance..... you see how it is...okay I'll stop (for now)!

Back to the challenge.  You play it like a bingo game and you pick a line of what you want to read. The line I picked included one book for Romance, Historical Fiction, Memoir, Thriller, and Book Read to a Child.

Romance: I picked Rachel J Good's book Change of Heart ..yes I know I had to get at least one Amish book in!  ( I've already read it and posted a review this morning)

Historical Fiction:  I'm currently reading this one by Murray Pura.  The history I didn't know..

 Reminton colt's Revolutionary War Series

Memoir: I'm going to read Night by Elie Wiesel.  You may have seen in the news recently that Elie Wiesel passed away.  After hearing his story I'm so sorry I didn't know more about him before. I'm sure this story of his life will speak to my heart.

Book read to a Child:   We read this one a couple of times a week to the beautiful granddaughter.

Thriller:   This is where I'm stuck...I'm not sure yet on what book to pick.  I have till August 6 do you have any suggestions?
