Garden Update for 7/8/16: Rain Glorious Rain!

Garden after a rain: Picture of corn, beets, watermelon. Vickie's Kitchen and Garden
Picture of my corn, beets, and watermelon plants.

Rain finally came last night and it was a great garden soaker!   Seems like the plants started to perk up overnight!   It's been a long dry spell.  Before the rain they declared that we were in a moderate drought.

So far I've picked three zucchini's!  I pretty sure in the morning three more that will grow giant size! I'm making my first batch of Zucchini Bread later this evening.

Beans are starting to climb after the rain. Vickie's Kitchen and Garden

The beans are starting to climb and so are the weeds!   I'd better get working in the garden!

I'll be pulling up the garlic bulbs within a few days. The ground was real hard like cement and I decided to wait till after the rain to harvest them.

Been a while since I've done a blessing post.  Rain is a wonderful blessing!

How's your garden growing?
