My Frugal Ways this Past Week 4/2/17!
Sorry I missed last week. We got so busy with out bedroom remodel and really I didn't feel like I had been frugal. Remodeling is very costly but in the end it's worth it.
Here is a list of the frugal ways I've saved this past week:
I requested and received the book, A Dog's Purpose, from the library this past week. This is by far my favorite way of reading books for free. While I was there I looked through their donated books they have for sale. I bought 3 for .50 each. The money that is raised goes towards improvements to the library.
We took back unused trim from remodeling our bedroom and also a yard light that didn't project the light as well as we wanted. We bought groceries with the money.
We decided to use an tall end table from the living room for a t.v. stand for our bedroom. We also decided to just make do with the the furnishings we already have for our bedroom (we've spent enough for now).
Filled out the Kroger survey for more fuel points.
Redeemed my Swagbucks for an $3.00 Amazon Card this past week.
We learned about propagation at the Master Gardening class and I was able to bring home 3 new indoor plants. I also decided to bring in my tall wild indoor plant to the class, just on the chance they could propagate it. She was unable to propagate it but she told me of ways I could try and save it. It's worth a try.
Here is what has been on the dinner table:
Two weeks ago:
Monday Sloppy Joe
Tuesday Chili
Wednesday Steak and Onion
Thursday Roast beef sandwiches (okay it was roast beef lunchmeat on a hamburger bun with some cheese)
