I hope you had a great Easter dinner. Brunch here was avoided when we were able at the last minute to switch the times back to our regular two o'clock. I did want to make Easter breakfast special but it seemed like I was too exhausted to make the cinnamon rolls that kept coming to mind. It was then I remembered the deal we got for a bread company down at the Farmers Market. I bought the deal for $8.00 and it was worth $15.00. So I could buy $15.00 worth of goods. I bought 4 giant cinnamon rolls and two croissants for my $8.00. Making it yourself is way cheaper but buying things for something special was possible with this deal.
I also tried out a new recipe for us called Pineapple Dream Dessert. It was delicious, so this recipe is a keeper! If you ever need a pie or dessert, this one can make you look good for just a little effort. I skipped making the graham cracker crust and used the two pie crusts I had left over from Christmas baking. I used one for the bottom crust and crumbled the other one for the top. So it was really a pie for us but this made it so easy.
