Here are the ways we helped our household and saved this past week:
Picked flowers, peppers, two personal sized watermelons, tomatoes, broccoli, a bushel of mustard greens (not shown), and pumpkins (small and large).
Grandson sold the four pumpkins he dug out of the garden for $12 ($3.00 a piece) and I sold Zinnia bouquets and small pumpkins for another $12.00 yesterday. We live on a small street but I did this while another neighbor was having a garage sale. There is more in the garden.
Sold two items I picked up from the side of the road ($20). I think I've found a new hobby!
I saved two leftover meals in the freezer.
I requested the book The Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine from the library. Sometimes I have to stop myself especially when the book is more costly than I need to spend. I won't get this till the middle of October but I'm good with that.
Goals for the week:
Continuing harvesting and cleaning up the garden
