I was out picking pumpkins today while it wasn't raining and spotted this woolly worm. It looks like good news for us this winter. You see the legend is the black on the fuzzy woolly warm means it will be a hard winter and the brown means it will be a mild winter. So it looks like no matter where you start on this woolly worm most of our winter will be mild.
Sometimes it seems that they are right but really to tell the truth we tend to forget what we saw on the woolly worm about mid winter. We have to shovel the snow no matter what the woolly warm says!
Do you believe in the woolly worm legend, follow the farmers almanac, or just go with whatever happens?
