Not a summer goes by that we don't go to see the old cars at Back to the Bricks. We first go to Saginaw St. for the cruise on Wednesday, then we go to downtown Flint and see the rest of the cars on Saturday (today). It's all free except for the eats. It's a wonderful time of looking, and wishing we had saved some of the old cars we had. Like the Nova, the Chevette, or even the El Camino we had. Why, oh why didn't we save them?
Although I love old cars, it's the trucks, like the yellow one back there, that I love the best!
I would have took more pictures on the bricks but I forgot my camera today. I'll do better next year!
Then, be still my frugal heart!

A lot of car shows around this area this weekend too. Sounds like a good time for you and your family.
It was fun (Just me and hubby),
I love car shows! It's time we went to one! But seriously we would have melted into a puddle today with the heat.
We lived in Pt. Huron, Michigan for 30 years before moving to Indiana. That is not far from Flint. Nancy
Hot here too..not as hot though as you are. I Hope you get to go soon. It was a great time.
