My Menu for this Week 9/16/19!

Smoking jerky, ribs, and picking beans today is what we have planned.  Sounds like a lot of fun work!  It's always fun to see how many beans we get.  This year especially, after the  spring flood we had.  We took a look yesterday and it's hard to believe that we have them hanging in knots out there.  It's just such a blessing for sure!

It's wet though out there.  It must have rained during the night and there is a lot of dew.  So we will wait about an hour and let it dry up some.  Probably still will get soaked to the bone as we pick but it's got to get done.

I walked into Meijer this morning and they had almost a case full of ribs that were marked down to approximately $5.00.  So I bought two. Ribs sound so good this week!

Here is what I plan to put on the table this week:

Monday                    Leftover pork chops, instant mashed potatoes, and green beans

Tuesday                    BBQ Smoked spareribs and a salad

Wednesday               Hot dogs and coney island sauce

Thursday                  Leftovers

Friday                      Hamburgers and coleslaw.

Saturday                   Hamburger Leftovers remade like  Patsy's  recipe.

Sunday                     Baked Chicken, Fried cabbage, sliced tomatoes, and green beans.

Well, I better get out there husband thinks it's dry enough now.

What do you have planned for the table this week?

Your chili dog looks delicious!
I made a box of ham and cheese on little buns to have ready made sandwiches this week, husband is smoking chicken for us to eat this week week. I’ll just add sides like veggies, salad and baked potatoes as the week goes on.
