My Menu Plan for this Week 12/9/19!

School Bus, Bus, Yellow, Coach, Vehicle, Motor, Cartoon

Okay, so I remembered this morning that I'm going on a field trip with one of the grandkids.  I've done this before but I must not be on file anymore or they have to update the criminal record every so often.  I had to go in last week, fill out a form, and give them my drivers license.  Yep that's right they are doing a criminal check on me.  Just in case you haven't done a field trip with a little one in awhile this is what they do now or at least what that district does!  The world is changing but you know what-we will be safe and we will have fun!

Here is what I plan to have on the the table this week:

Monday        Coney dogs and fries (we didn't have these yesterday and the grandkids are coming so it's perfect meal today)

Tuesday        Chicken fried in lard with no breading then topped with garlic butter (I watched a man on youtube do this and can't wait to try-I'll let you know how it turns out)

Wednesday    Chicken salad and baked beans

Thursday       Leftovers or what ever they decide.  I'm going on a field trip with one of the grandkids so I'll bring a chicken salad sandwich and whatever else I can find!

Friday            Homemade pizza

Saturday        Out to eat

Sunday          Pork Chops, green beans, & mashed potatoes.

What will be on your dinner table this week?

Yes, the world we live in requires background checks. They do one on everyone who volunteers to work with children at our church, too. That v kind of makes me sad but with what we see in the news these days I know it is necessary now.

This week we have baked ziti, oven fried chicken, baked tilapia, pizza, chicken tortilla soup, and fettucine alfredo on our menu.

Sounds like a great menu Lana! You know your right about safety. I guess I would be worried if they didn't do a check
