I'll Be In the Garden (alone)

I've decided that after I clean up  the toys in the living room that I'm going to be in the garden this morning.  Have I ever showed you my little greenhouse?

This was my Christmas present this last year.   So far the cabbages, I mean a lot of cabbages, are coming up, flowers are making a show, and cucumbers are popping up.

You can still buy this little greenhouse on Amazon but it's now $179.99.  It was $115.00 when I bought it in December.  Man prices have gone up!  I do want to say I like it a lot.  It fits my small space perfectly.

.

This picture was taken about a week ago and now they have really started growing.  I went out there with the grand kids and we planted 6 so I have some work to do.   I imagine come harvest time we will have a lot of sauerkraut and cabbage rolls with still plenty to share.

We are on a revised lock down till May 15 here in Michigan.  Nurseries will be open now.  I don't need any plants right now..it's too cold for most of what I want.  Yet, I need some white half runner seeds that I can only buy at my local nursery.  I'll be masked up and ready to go and get them sometimes this week or next.
FYI:   no hair salons or barbers will open yet...umm

Please leave a comment and let me know how it's going in your neck of the woods.

Your greenhouse looks like something we would like too.

And thanks for the books, I got 3 and wIll be reading the DIY wipes one first. We can’t get wipes here at all.

Yes it fits that space and it's not in the way of the lawn tractor, so it's perfect.
I thought you when I seen the wipes book ...I hope there is a recipe in there you can use.

Ok, now I am singing, I come to the garden alone. Be thankful you can't hear me as I can't carry a tune in a bucket.
Love your greenhouse. Your plants look great. I need to set up my mini greenhouse as the tomatoes are getting too leggy.
Enjoy your time in the garden alone, without little helpers.

I've been singing that every since I posted it Kathy! I even had visitors, the neighbor's cats needed loving and I feed them some food. So, I wasn't alone for too long.
Your tomatoes are coming up great it sounds like. Gardening is so rewarding.

I love your green house. Can you tell me where you have it sitting? Outside I assume? Is it sitting against your house? Facing what direction? I've wanted one for years but am so lazy when it comes to babying seedlings.

I was going to stop at Lowes garden center when I did my grocery pick up yesterday but everything was packed! And I think only about 10% of the people I saw were wearing masks. Totally crazy IMO. It was a Friday afternoon but still.....why are people bringing their children out into the stores?

I'm hoping to get out one morning this week to buy strawberry plants. I think if I can go on a weekday morning I'll be able to avoid large crowds. It will depend on if my husband can watch the grandbaby for me for a few hours.

It's outside on the side of the garage. There was just enough room by the trash bin thing. I think it's sitting east side of the garage...Let me go ask husband haha. Yeah I was right!
we are required to wear masks now but I've heard just like you mentioned that a lot of people are not. I hope your able to get out one morning. I love morning shopping too, I can get it done faster.

Love your greenhouse. I hope to mask up and go get some things for the garden this week. I have not been out much at all! Nancy

I'm like you and haven't been out much...I think the longer we can delay getting out the better!
I know what I want so it will be a quick in and out for me. Just got to get up the nerve!
