Just like that ...Summer!

We should have known it would happen, the humidity and heat always comes on Memorial weekend.  One day we have Spring Winter and the next day Summer.  Just like that it seems!  If only we would gradually go into our seasons in Michigan like other people. LOL

Well, we will make it now that the air conditioner is in the window.  I say the sun can keep shinning baking us now.  Really, truly, I'm thankful for the warmth and the chance to make some Sun Tea again.

Please leave a comment and let me know how it's going in your neck of the woods.

It is so strange that we can be cool & comfortable here in Arkansas while you are melting in Michigan. We've had so much rain & a few thunderstorm scares as well. It looks like this will be a solid week of rain for us.

I don't have my grandson this week. He woke up in the night with a fever on Memorial Day. Our kids had taken off work so I didn't have him Monday anyway thankfully. He was fine once he got up though...no fever, not sick at all. But with the virus he has to be fever free for 72 hours before my son & daughter-in-law can go back to work. Or they can take him to the dr & have him declared corona free. Of course they don't want to take him anywhere he might catch something so they are enjoying some time off.

We're all pretty grateful for it. We've been run ragged with my son & daughter-in-law working overtime. I'm sleeping in, lazing around, cooking a little, cleaning a little & just thoroughly enjoying doing whatever I want to do whenever I want to do it.

I'm glad you got some time off and so happy your grandson is ok. Your day Jenny just sounds so comfortable and relaxing.

I have never made sun tea before. I love iced tea.
We went from winter to summer too. I miss spring. Oh and our 17 year cicadas are hatching. Ugly things. What a year...covid19, flooding last week, now a plague of locusts...

Oh no..how perfect Kathy. I wonder what will happen next! Hopefully nothing.

Yes, weather whiplash here too. Each week I make a list for DS when he comes over to help out. You better believe number one on this weekend's list is put the ac's in!

Yes! Our at is in now. We are supposed to cool down this weekend but we will be prepared for the next batch of hot weather.
