It rained and was cold all day yesterday plus we had a stranger in the house for most of the day. A hardworking stranger, I might add, installing our bathtub. Really, there was basically nothing to do except get caught up on a few sewing projects. At times I wondered where I could go because the bathroom we were having worked on is the only one we have. One time, I flew 10 minutes away to my daughters house. All of sudden I just disappeared, my husband said ha ha!
We were so thankful that nothing went wrong and the bathtub went in without a problem. I can handle a boring day for a new bathtub! He left last night with a bag of new onions from our garden. He was impressed with their size and wanted to know how to grow them like that. I love that!
Dry walling will be done today but it promises to be bright and sunny so I can keep disappear to the garden.

So glad it went well! Our A/C work continues. All our vents downstairs are just open to the crawl space right now which gave me the creeps all night wondering if or what was crawling through them into the house. We definitely have a funky smell. I will be so glad when this is all done!

Oh I'm glad that your bathtub went in ok with no problems! Hope that he is able to finish everything up soon, so that you can have your bathroom back. Glad it wasn't a potty emergency and you were able to make it to your daughter's house.

Please share how you grow large onions? I'm such a lazy, neglectful gardener I've never grown them very well.
