We went to chop down the dead tree in our backyard last night.  He was all set to try his $20 chain saw that he bought at an estate sale not too long ago.  This tree set at an odd angle between the corner of our lot and 2 others. Of course, when it came down it deceided to rest on all three privacy fences.

So. I walked around to the friendly neighbor we know and helped out from there. He stayed on our side and we both tried to push it over the fence. It was then I heard a crash and all of sudden he wasn't there.  He had been standing on a old small trailer we have,it shifted and he fell off.  I hollered and said are you ok?  He said yeah. Nothing was broken.  Thank God.

With a little more tugging we got it the rest of the way down and chopped up for firewood kindling.

Leaving her property I decided to look at the grape vines that we keep up with the another neighbor.  We haven't seen grapes on the vines in a couple of years.  We thought it may have been because we may have pruned them a bit too severe.

I almost jumped up and down when I saw grapes!  I was so happy to get a nice sized basket full and I can't wait to get with canning grape juice tonight!

So glad your hubby wasn't hurt from the fall.
The grapes look delicious. What a happy discovery.

It's good to have grapes again. I can't wait to tell the neighbor..I left about half of them for her.

How exciting to find the grapes! Free food always gets me pretty excited.

Slow day here. I tried a drive through oil change for the first time. It was super fast & convenient. And I went into Walmart to buy groceries.

I don't know if it's everywhere but in my area on Fridays, people have decided to stop wearing masks in protest of being required to wear them....so I went shopping last Friday without thinking. Half the store at least were mask free. Today I saw one young couple without masks.

Oh I haven't heard of mask free Friday protest. Wow that just kind of blows my mind. I'm glad you remembered this week to go earlier.
I turn my head when I see someone without a mask and walk faster past them. I'm protecting them but they are too self centered not to protect me. Shopping is not fun any more.
