The Complete Muffin & Cupcake Cookbook is a series of 8 cookbooks and I checked the page and several others are fee today too, so if you want to check that out you can get more than one in the series.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the great hint Belinda!
DeleteI got the muffin book. Thanks! :)
DeleteGlad your grandson enjoys reading! Hope he finds another series that he likes too. My son liked those Diary of a wimpy kid books when he was in middle school, and I thought the movie was good too. Unfortunately the required readings in high school and college has turned him off reading for fun. Why do teachers pick some of the most boring books?
ReplyDeleteKathy that's so sad..I hope someday he will enjoy reading again. The book we ordered actually was in the mailbox this morning just in time for reading to self time but he needs to slow down a little..LOL. Do you remember doing book reports? I'm hoping they don't do them anymore.
DeleteI'm glad his book came in the mail.
DeleteI remember book reports, and they still have to do them, even in some college classes.
Do you think your grandson would like a Wimpy Kid School Planner? I have one that I would be happy to put in the mail to him or you. You have helped me get so many books! You can email me your or his address at memtgil at cox dot net if you think he'd like it.
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet Elaine..I can't wait till he comes tomorrow to ask him if he has read that one. He just devours them.
DeleteI can't remember how old he is? My son hated to read growing up but reads all the time now. I required so much reading a day then let him go.
ReplyDeleteOne thing you might try is to read aloud if you have time. I read aloud to mine from birth until he graduated from high school. You might find some good ideas from https://readaloudrevival.com/
I think audio books are just fine too as long as that's not the only way they 'read' books.
Yes..he is in fifth grade -he only loves these books so my daughter did say when he runs out to start to read to him. Maybe by doing that for awhile he'll branch out to another series of books. I hope so! soon!
