Too Tired to Talk:
It's very unusual for this to happen but I stayed up too late last night watching T.V. Then I didn't sleep well because you know I watched T.V., and now I'm too tired to talk!
You guys talk and I'll respond (please nothing political)! Tell me what's going on in your neck of the woods. I will let you know that in Michigan our numbers are up. So very worrisome.

Hi Vickie! Thank you for posting even though you are tired. As often happens, there are a couple books that sound interesting. I've been wondering if your grandson wasn't interested in the Wimpy Kid planner I offered. No worries either way. Hope your day goes well in spite of being tired! Elaine
Hope your tv watching was something enjoyable. Maybe you can take a cat nap? Hope your virus cases go down.
Scary times.
We voted today, and it felt good. So glad we have early voting this year. We were able to walk right in and vote. No waiting in line and they had lots of covid precautions. It was my son's first time voting :)
Hope you can get some rest and feel better.
I'm in New York state. we had another BLM protest last Saturday so far they have been peaceful here just annoying as they shut down the roads. doesn't matter so much in the downtown area but when they shut down the main economic corridor its a problem not only are the main businesses there but also medical offices and its the way many people go to get to the hospital and medical offices near the hospital. we have a major hotspot nearby, the hasdic communities. they were forced to shut down their schools but they are not staying in their own town/area but are traveling I saw quite a few while I was shopping yesterday so I don't doubt we will again have more cases here.
I’ve been watching your virus numbers as well. I’m heading to western Michigan in Early December to help my daughter, expecting a holiday baby, with her other little ones.
She is a nurse practitioner and the numbers really concern her mightily.
Not looking forward to your Michigan weather but I haven’t visited grandchildren since February!
Yes we want it ..brain is fried with too much math! Email coming your way..when I find yours! thanks so much Elaine!
We are having a voting party tonight at the table (mail in voting). There is no early voting except mail in in Michigan. You are lucky.
I'm so proud of your son for voting..we always encouraged it to and now they are very involved in elections.
Have a great day Kathy!
email sent ...thanks again!
so glad Jane that you are getting to see your grandchildren. They are so much joy! I believe it was the U.P. that put our numbers up. So if your coming to the lower peninsula it might be better by then. You never can tell!
Sounds very stressful there. I never understood that protesting in front of a hospital. We had that happen here too awhile ago, there was an er, and the ambulance couldn't get through. Doesn't make sense to block a route to help.
This virus is so contagious. I'm sorry to see that the Hasdic communities have a upsurge. Hopefully they will get ahold of it soon.
Our number are up too but it all relative since they are way lower then 2-3 weeks ago and our hospitalizations and deaths are way down. So...I don't know what to say about that. We have pretty much gone back to living our lives and not worrying about it anymore. It just got to be too much.
Our county in Ohio is holding steady around 250. I have a grandson getting married in Dec and her shower is Nov. They already put out if you don't want to wear a mask DO NOT COME. He is military and has to report back within 5 days of the wedding. We will also be social distancing by siting with the family you live with IN YOUR HOME. I really miss holding the great grandbabies.
I understand totally..We make sure we clean our hands and wear a mask. We don't eat out through except for take out and watch where we go. No worries here just a way of life for the moment. Making sure to be safe.
Good for them they are standing their ground. It would be hard not holding the babies but if that makes everyone safe. One day soon we will be ok..the sooner the better.
It's hot here....the ac is back on. :(
My d-i-l is going to a new work schedule, a trial run for two weeks...which means for two weeks at least we won't be getting up at 4:30! If it goes well, we won't have to go over at all before breakfast & our grandson will just come to me during the day. Fingers, toes & eyes crossed..say your prayers it works out.
My husband & I are braving the city tomorrow to look for a fireman's costume & matching shirts for him & our grandson...for his 3rd birthday. We'll get our free car wash at the dealer & hopefully be home before noon.
You're welcome! I will get it ready and off to you. It will probably be next week before I get it mailed.
Sleep..wonderful sleep! Hope it works out!
Hope you have a great day shopping today!
