It was a dark rainy night when we came home Saturday from the  Christmas walk through.  It just rained hard all the way home.  The grand girl had gave us a visit on the way but we sent her home in her mom's car so she could go right to bed.  It was a tiring day.

Nothing out of the ordinary happened and we came in to a quiet house.  In the morning though we went outside and our tire was flat as a pancake.  I believe we picked up something in that parking lot. You know,  I thought about how we could have been out on that dark road changing our tire.  I'm so glad that God just watches over us and makes sure we are safe.

I am thankful too for you not having to change a tire on a night like that.

It gave chills when I thought of the what ifs. So glad he is keeping watch.

Thanks ...it would have been rough.

Wow...I am so glad it went flat in your driveway! I've had something like that happen before & I know just how grateful you must feel it held together until you were home.

We finally got our first snow! I am really excited about it. It came during our long weekend without my grandson so I've been able to do all my favorite things when snowed in. You know I love my family but I really needed these quiet days to refresh myself. I even had one whole day at home alone because hubby had to go in to work.
