The Hermit

That's what I feel like..a Hermit.   I live inside my winter cave and growl when people come to my door.  Actually it frightens me when people show up.   Did you ever get a package from a delivery person in their own car?  It's like who's that in my driveway, oh no they are coming to my door, and then it dawns on you that they are holding a package. Dah!

At least now we have some snow here to brighten our day and night. Maybe I'll come out of my cave more.
Seriously though, we can go for many days and sometimes weeks without the sun here in Michigan.

P.S.   It's now 10 in the morning and we have glorious sun!   I'm coming out of my cave today with a smile on my face!

Seems like I'm a little nutty this Friday morning I guess...How are you?

The Post office is delivering packages in an old U Haul truck here which seems creepy to me. But I also feel sorry for the delivery people having to get in and out of the back of that truck all day.

I guess they are really getting the business and running out of delivery vehicles! They are so backed up too. I sent a gift to my mil on Dec 2 and she hasn't got it yet. I tracked it and it's on it's way...hopefully soon!

Too funny! I've always been a homebody, but I'm turning into a hermit too. :)
We've had UPS making deliveries from their cars too. One night it was 9:30 pm during the snow and ice storm. Those poor people. :(
The bunny book reminds me of your grand girl. How is her bunny?
HOpe you have a great weekend.

I am just kind of living my regular life - been a sort of hermit for ages!! That is ok. I started noticing people bringing packages in their own cars a couple years ago - still strikes me odd.
Sun shining here today - love it!

It really bothers me when someone shows up here unexpectedly. If I'm home alone, I wont even answer the door. We too have had the delivery people come in their own cars. We have a driveway alarm now and it has helped a lot.

The sun was so nice today! I soaked it up for a couple of hours!

Yes safety is the utmost important thing. I always stick my head out the window to talk. Something my mom taught me when I was younger.

Hilarious ;)

Well, our building was torn down today so I had a construction crew at my house today. Plus my grandson & my husband. I ran away to do our Christmas food shopping. It was a madhouse in the stores.

At one point early this morning when our grandson kept interrupting us while we were both trying to deal with two or three things each at the same time....I looked at my husband & said.

I think I'm ready to run away.

He looked back, his eyes wide & said, 'You'd better come back!'

Ha. Will we ever feel like ourselves again?

This week has been crazy here too. I'm ready to run also but nowhere to go. I need to work on that problem!

You sound like my cat with the sun. She will sit in the window all day long when the sun is out. If it isn't, she just looks disappointed and glares at me like it is my fault. She's a MI cat so she should know better. Ann

aww she's a good Michigan cat. My cat soaks up that sun then gets hot and has to cool off somewhere else. These cats are funny. A lot of company though.
