I love this Toffee recipe because it's so easy but it looks and tastes like it took more time. Another reason why I like it so much is that I usually have all the ingredients on hand well, unless of course someone has ate my chocolate morsels!
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
Pkg of Saltine Crackers (just a sleeve)
Semi Sweet or Milk Chocolate Morsels (2 cups)
Line cookie sheet with foil then line the bottom with the crackers.
In saucepan bring the brown sugar and 1 cup of butter to a boil.
Pour over the crackers and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 mins.
Remove from oven and then immediately sprinkle chocolate morsels over the top. Let melt a little then spread it like frosting over the top using a butter knife. Let cool till hardened, in the refrigerator. Break apart.
