We have a lot of coffee mugs that we've picked up at garage sales over the years.  Most of them, like this one, we only pay about .25 for them.  So, as you can imagine, we can get over run with coffee cups up in the cupboard (our cups runneth over).  When I couldn't stack any more cups  last week, I started getting rid of the ones that we didn't use.

This one has never been touched since the time we bought it.  On the odd chance is what worth something I decided to look it up on Ebay.  I mean really you never know and it's officially licensed.  There is a brand new cup of Joe Dumars listed for $35 there!

So maybe, since mine is not brand new, it might be worth $20? I need to try and sell it.

How's it going in your neck of the woods?

Ooh that would be great to get some money from something that you aren't using.
Most of my cups are from places we have visited or places that hubby has worked. Unfortunately I don't think they are worth much, but my cups runneth over too. :)
Of course now I'm thinking of the song, "I'm drinking from my saucer because my cup has overflowed."
I think He is trying to tell me something...

Way to go Vickie! I had bought a Michael Jordan jersey at a garage sale many years ago for and never gave away. I'm sure I spent less than $5. I found it in a box last year and sold it for alot of money!

My husband and I had an antique booth for years. Besides antiques, I sold a lot of collectibles that I picked up at garage sales for little or nothing. I could make quite a bit on items likes your $.25 cup.

Ok I've listened to that song because I've really never heard it before.just beautiful and makes you think! I also remember tea cup with saucers and the old people drinking from the saucers. Their cups had runners over!

I bet you could make a lot of money on stuff like that. Sometimes people don't know what they are selling. So fun to!
