In the midst of all this trouble, we decided to go curbside shopping. Yeah, the news of our United States was just too troubling for both of us and we needed to do some picking trash for therapy. Really, I expect it will take quite awhile for us to return to normal after this.
Any how, here is what we found. Now, we got all this the night before last and we have been glued to our T.V. every since, so we don't know if they actually work. Husband can repair a lot if they are not too far gone. We did get it out of the truck (well he did).
This is the cutest little motorcycle. Grandkids are too old for this, so if this works we will probably sell it.
The man of the house was out there when we picked up this one. Funny thing is he picked it out of the trash too and he said he just never had time to fix it. We have a working snow blower so after husband fixes this one we will sell it too or give it to someone we know that needs one. This is on hold though for warmer weather so he can work on it, so next year.
How's it going in your neck of the woods?

Oh my, that is just the cutest motorcycle. I hope your hubby can fix it and the snowblower. What great finds!
We were so excited we even found something! It's been warm so people are clearing things out!
I love your curbside shopping posts!
A little bit of fun gives us a thrill!
Such great curbside finds! I hope your dh can get them both fixed nd sold. :)
Me too! Thanks Belinda!
Wow, you are really good at curbside pick ups.
I think we need to accept the new normal. Apparently our voices don't count. :(
I enjoy learning about your roadside finds. Very interesting. We're good here. I'm busy writing and sharing about "Grumpy the Gator". Have a blessed week!
What a great distraction and some good finds! Our rain/snow forecast has been mostly rain, thankfully. The little bit of snow we did have has all washed away. Our old way of life seems to be washing away with it.
Your books sound so good!
Ha! Made me laugh out loud when you wrote you needed to do some picking trash for therapy. I wish we could do that, (we have to go to the dump-altho hubby has picked up some metal stuff for his projects). One of our thrift stores has been closed, and I haven't gone to our other one (scared). I really don't need anything but I miss shopping at them. Youz did good! Hopefully they can be fixed during the cold winter. Enjoy your weekend.
Now I hope this is not our new normal..We need some peace don't we Jenny?
Funny how I'm fine with curbside but not really thrift store. I guess too many people out there. Really I miss finding stuff there that I didn't know I needed. Hopefully we will get back there soon.
I always say we need some new snow because our old snow is dirty. I've heard on the news that we should be getting new snow in a couple of weeks.
We'll never find piece in our environment....the only peace we'll find is what we make in our own homes.
