Yep, nothing is in the ground so to speak but I'm growing none the less.  Before the renovation I made sure to do enough winter sowing to make me happy. I think it totals around 25 jugs.   In the window I'm also growing sweet potato slips in mason jars and I have oregano in a pot.  I'm also growing microgreens in a jar for the chickens (I've done this 2 or 3 times and they love it).

So, even though there is still snow outside (it snowed this morning), I'm getting my gardening in!

How's it going in your neck of the woods?

How neat that you grow microgreens for you chickens. I'm sure they love those. I loved raising chickens. They would pick a watermelon rind clean until it was all gone.

They love summertime and watermelon! It's so much fun watching them he that.

Your garden in jugs sounds great! It's warm here and we're busy getting things growing to enjoy before the summer heat hits. New peach trees are blossoming. It's time to pick the citrus and I've shipped some to family and friends in the colder climates.

Twenty-five jugs! Wow! Better to plant too much than too little.

So funny Jeannie I didn't think that was enough but I decided it would be ok. Some people have planted a 100 or more. They must have a huge garden or they are thinking some won't make it. Not sure.
