The walls are drywalled and painted (listen I could have never done the fantastic job that our guy did), the outlet covers are on, the new blinds  and curtain toppers are up, but the fireplace stone is in Eau Claire.  Actually that's a good thing I think!  At least it's being tracked and getting closer!

We even picked out the carpet on Sunday.  Progress is being made but won't be totally done for a couple of more weeks.   By that time I will have this place all dust free!

Next year anything that needs doing hopefully will be outside!

How's it going at your house this morning?

  1. Oh I know it is going to look so awesome! And I know you will be glad to have it finished too! Glad the fireplace stone is almost there too.
I'm not sure what our home improvement project will be this year...so many things need fixing, but we try to do one big one each year.

    1. Kathy usually for us it's once a year for us too but like you things are piling up on us. The other stuff is small though so that helps. You know I now know why Mom didn't renovate she just kept up as she got older. I might have to resort to that!

  2. Oh wow, he got it done so fast, that's great. Last year for us was to replace appliances. I don't know what this year will be for us yet either. I'm so glad yours is almost behind you now.
