Free Kindle Books for 4/28/21 and My Mind Closures!

Sometimes I get stuck on the only solution I can think of and my mind closes to other possibilities.  This recent mind closure  started with a notice about Feed burner, the service that I use to deliver my daily emails to you, informing me they will cease operating this summer in July.  I know a lot of you follow by email  and believe me I'm so sorry about this.  Quite a few of you actually follow me more as a email subscriber than any other way (close to 2,000 of you).  Somehow that's very scary..2,000 people read my blog.  Small to a lot of you but that's a lot of people to me.   You know in my mind, I honestly thought  I would actually just stop blogging. I actually love blogging though and can't imagine not waking up every morning and starting my day telling you my wild opinions. about my kitchen and garden, and posting free ebooks.  It's kept me somewhat sane in this never ending pandemic.  So, I decided in the end that I want to continue blogging a least for awhile longer.

I was reminded recently though about the other ways to follow me and there is hope that a good many of you will explore the other possibilities.  So, I wanted to let you know, that you can follow me on Twitter, PinterestFacebook, or Bloglovin (thanks Jes).  I do update daily on all those platforms but Bloglovin and Facebook are a great services and I do recommend those platforms the most.

So please give these platforms a try and let me know how they are going for you.

How's it going in your neck of the woods?

I guess I'm lazy, old school, tech deprived - something. I know which one my kids would say. Anyway, I just start typing Vickie in my search engine window and there you are. And I love your blog. Free books, the fact we live in the same state and you know Horrocks - hey that's important. Ann

Hi Vickie: I'll follow you on Facebook (not a big facebooker-I use a fake name), but I would miss your emails! But not to worry, I'll adapt and go on Facebook! (learning new things are good for us!). I've never done your book offers, just really enjoy reading about you and your life.

Vickie, I've really enjoyed your blog, but I'm sorry to say that w/o the email, I probably won't be checking in very often. I don't have time to follow blogs, as I once did. I spend very little time on Facebook and I gave up Twitter completely. I certainly will miss checking in every day. I've loved getting your email, but things change, don't they--especially in the world of technology!

I follow you through feedly, just the basic free account. I love using it because then I don't have to weed through emails. I just go to my list & it shows me new posts. I can go back through & see older posts as well. It's so easy to use. I usually open the actual blog because I enjoy reading it that way best.
But I don't know if you get any credit for me as a follower this way? I don't understand how all of that works.

I've heard of feedly. I love that you found me there. I don't need credit at all! I'm h good to care Jenny, I'm just glad your here!
