The warmer weather has brought out the garage/estate sales.  We went to a few and had a ball finding stuff we needed (ok we wanted).  Masks were worn.

So here is what we found at garage sales and estate sales this week for pennies on the dollar, husband says:

Husband was just looking in a box and found this $3 antenna for daughter!  Yeah! This picture is of our house and we love the antenna.  We pick up a lot of local channels.  The last time we look these are selling for $100 right now.

We also found her a like new Char Broil Gas grill for $30.00. She is one happy camper.  She said asked quietly "could this be a gift?"  of course!

A new crockpot for me for $5.00!  Works great!

Misc. cleaning supplies for .50 to $1.00 (scrubbing bubbles, cleaner for computer and t.v. screens, etc.)

Coffee cups and thermal cups for .25 to .50 a piece (because I love being hit in the head with more cups falling out of the cupboard).

A small vacuum and small carpet cleaner for the car.  I'm not sure how much he paid.

Lots of tools that husband smiled about on his way to the garage.

And this is just the start...

How's it going in your neck of the woods?

Wow, great finds! Sounds like your daughter was thrilled with her gifts too. What a neat crockpot. We have an antennae too, since we stopped directv years ago when we got serious about paying off the mortgage early.
You cracked me up about the thermal cups since mine are always falling and hitting me too. Wish those things stacked better.
Enjoy your garage sales.

Those antennas are amazing! I think that's a great way to save money on t.v. We love all the channels we get.
I probably need to figure out a way to stop those slippery cups from falling. None of the ways I've tried have worked yet.

We get our first shot today...husband, son & I. My daughter in law has gone to Branson with her family for their yearly girls weekend but she's looking for a place to get hers. The rest of us are getting it through my husband's employer.

I'm so ready for yard sale season. The thrift shops in our area have gotten so high! They aren't for poor people anymore that's for sure. I'm going thrift shopping with two of my closest friends to celebrate our birthdays this Saturday. I have a list of things we'll be looking for.

I’m looking forward to yard sales this year too
That is a very nice looking crockpot!

Yard sailing is so much fun. I hope you find some good stuff. This crock pot gets real hot and I love it!

Yeah so glad you all are getting the shots! I like the employers when they schedule the clinics too. So much easier for everyone.
I should make a list for yard sales and make sure I don't forget any thing. I always try to do that every year but I haven't yet. Thrift stores are high here too.

Nice finds. Neat crockpot! No sales here yet. I do love looking at them - it sure has been a long while.

I saw a pile of items sitting on the edge of a yard yesterday. My first thought was, "Vickie could make something out of those items." :-)

I think we got lucky with the good weather so people put out the sales. Hopefully you're will start up soon.

We need to get back curbside shopping again. We've been so busy and that's always so much fun!
