I was talking to one of my friends yesterday and she was saying how she loved the Jean Kuhnke books (we have no idea how to pronounce her name). Oh, I do love them too. Anyway, we mutually agreed how her books always uplift us and makes us feel like we can go on no matter what the circumstances. She has a free book by the way just about every Thursday and it's seems to be free until Monday.
So, I was thinking, which kind of books do you love the most? If you could, please leave a comment and let me know. If it's Christian romance could you name your favorite author? If it's Crafts, name your favorite kind of craft. I love cookbooks too - do you? They have to have a picture though of the recipe outcome so I want to make it and then know that I made it right. Then there is gardening. I could talk and read about gardening and homesteading till I'm blue.
What kind of books do you love to read?
or Let me know how it's going in your neck of the woods.

Self help books and Bible devotions are my favorites. I love clean fiction, especially anything with sewing or quilting in it. I love homemaking books, especially the “old timey “ ways.
I love reading and have many favorite authors. Cynthia Ruchti, Grace Greene, Toni Shiloh, Jill Kemerer, Susan M. Boyer, Nancy Naigle, Starr Ayers, Cynthia Herron....and so many more. My favorite all time author is Grace Livingston Hill. :-)
I like the Jean kuhnke books too! I also like Amish stories and mysteries. Hugs,
This will help me quite a lot little penpen. I'll remember to keep these kind of books in mind to recommend.
I wondered if any loved Amish books like I do! Thanks for commenting Sandi!
I've been looking up Cynthia Ruchti, man she has some good reviews. Then her titles are very good and straight to the point. Grace Livingston Hill is a fav of mine too. Now to look up some of your other authors you love. Thanks Melissa!
I like reading history & memoirs. I don't really have favorite authors so much, just favorite subjects. I do love Sean Dietrich's memoir. I also enjoy cookbooks based on books, especially children's books. Some I have: The Boxcar Children cookbook, Little House cookbook & the Oregon trail cookbook. And I love books with letters or based on letters or books that use letters in the storyline...weird I guess but I write a ton of letters.
Vickie, I'm glad to hear you and your friend both like Jean Kuhnke books. I haven't tried any of them yet. I read fiction books from most genres. I prefer Christian fiction. Although I really like contemporary fiction, I read a lot of historical fiction from all eras. I have a number of favorite authors, but I always hesitate to name them, as I'm afraid I'll leave someone out. You are welcome to look me up on goodreads. I review all books I read.
Book wise I don't fit in here very well - except for cookbooks. I love cookbooks. My preferences are British murder mysteries - Agatha Christie being a favorite. Also history - right now I'm reading a book about the Cornbread Mafia in KY - pot growers back in the '80's and from my part of KY. Also I am a huge Stephen King fan. Ann
I've seen those cookbooks based on books and thought they sounded neat. I'll have to give them a try.
Oh I know what you mean about naming authors I feel like that too. You are so good to review books. I know authors love that. I'll look you up on Goodreads Kay!
Before the Kindle books I had quite a collection of cookbooks. They come in so handy!
I bet that book your reading is a good one. I remember the helicopters going over our head while we lived there very well. They were quite successful in finding some fields and the newspapers would then show the sheriff next to the pile of pot. Boy have times changed.
