Review and Giveaway of the Documentary Colors of Character #ColorsofCharacterMIN #MomentumInfluencerNetwork

With no formal training, Steve Skipper has broken down walls of racism in the world of fine art. God radically saved Skipper when he was a member of a notorious Birmingham, Alabama, street gang and immediately his life was transformed. Focused on his new-found faith and his talent for painting, Skipper faithfully seized opportunities that only God could have provided and he quickly began gaining notoriety in the sports world for his meticulous artistic style of super-realism. Now, Skipper is continuing his journey, painting the stories of the pioneers of the Civil Rights movement.

My thoughts:

Colors of Character is such an inspiring documentary!  It's amazing how Steve Skipper was lifted out of a gang and found his love of God and painting. You just never know how God will use you to be a blessing to others. Over and over through many hardships and discriminations,  God directed his path of what he should paint next and he made a living!

Now, he has went from painting sports legends to painting scenes from the Civil Rights Movement. Along the way through  research he is bringing light to stories of that movement that are not as well known.  The knowledge of these stories come out in his paintings and are helping bring the promise and hope of the past to the future.

What an inspiration!
